Process and plant for the selective separation of chlorides and fluorides, in particular from flue gases or exhaust gases, in which, in a scrubber circulation (1, 4, 5, 6, 7), HCl and HF are virtually completely absorbed and SO3 is partly absorbed by a highly concentrated calcium chloride solution. A portion of the loaded calcium chloride solution is ejected into a secondary circulation (14, 15, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29). The free acids contained therein are neutralised by addition of alkali metal oxides, hydroxides or carbonates and/or alkaline earth metal oxides, hydroxide or carbonates. Only very low amounts of solids (CaSO4.2H2O, CaSO3.1/2 H2O) can form in the scrubber circulation, and only small amounts of waste water highly concentrated in salts are ejected, which can be simply disposed of, for example by spray-drying. <IMAGE> |
