abstract | The cyclic benzoinorganopolysiloxanes contain at least one in a cyclic trisiloxane, tetrasiloxane, pentasiloxane or hexasiloxane directly bonded to a silicon atom benzoin radical of the formula (formula) in which Ph is the phenyl group and R ↑ 1 the hydrogen atom or an alkyl group with 1 to 4 carbon atoms, especially the Methyl group. The cyclic benzoinorganopolysiloxanes can be used as sensitizers for the crosslinking of photocrosslinkable organopolysiloxane molding compositions or organopolysiloxane molding compositions that can be crosslinked by the action of radiation.
