titleOfInvention DEVICE FOR PIVOTING A SWING LEAF TO AN ADDITIONAL COMPONENT
abstract In a device for articulating a pivoting wing, especially of a door or window, on an adjacent constructional part, having two pins which extend at a distance from and parallel to one another through a connecting member which they pass through and of which one is assigned to the pivoting wing and the other to the adjacent constructional part, it will become possible to connect the pivoting wing to the other constructional part in such a way that it pivots through more than 180 DEG about one of the hinge pins and at the same time can be held securely in the respective position. This becomes possible in that there is fixed to the pivoting wing an abutment face (31) which is parallel to this and which projects approximately radially from the pivot axes (11) of the latter and which, in the closing position of the pivoting wing (1), bears against an abutment face (28) on the pin (6) of the adjacent constructional part (2), in relation to which its abutment face (38) is relatively movable on its pin (6). At the same time, members or hinge wings (7, 8) having the abutment faces (28, 31) will be assigned to the connecting member (4) which is designed as a block plate with recesses (10, 13) receiving the pins (6, 11). <IMAGE>
