abstract | Novel substituted 3,5-diamino-1,2,4-oxadiazoles and 3,5-diamino-1,2,4-thiadiazoles of the general formula I <IMAGE> in which R<1> denotes a hydrogen or halogen atom or an alkyl group, R<2> denotes a halogen atom or an alkyl group, R<3> denotes a hydrogen atom, an acyl group of a saturated or unsaturated alkyl group, R<4> and R<5>, which can be identical or different, denote a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, where all alkyl or acyl groups can be branched or unbranched and in each case contain 1 to 4 carbon atoms, X denotes an oxygen, nitrogen or sulphur atom and Y denotes an oxygen or nitrogen atom, the group -X-Y- representing -O-N-, -N-O- or -S-N-, excluding 3-amino-5-(4-methylphenylamino)-1,2,4-oxadiazole, 3-(4-methylphenylamino)-5-amino-1,2,4-oxadiazole, 3-(4-chlorophenylamino)-5-amino-1,2,4-oxadiazole, 3-(3,4-dichlorophenylamino)-5-amino-1,2,4-oxadiazole, 3-(2,3-dimethylphenylamino)-5-amino-1,2,4-oxadiazole, 3-(2,3-dichlorophenylamino)-5-amino-1,2,4-oxadiazole, 3-(2-methylphenylamino)-5-amino-1,2,4-oxadiazole, 3-(4-fluorophenylamino)-5-amino-1,2,4-oxadiazole, 3-(2,6-dichlorophenylamino)-5-amino-1,2,4-oxadiazole, 3-(2-chlorophenylamino)-5-amino-1,2,4-oxadiazole, 3-(4-chlorophenylamino)-5-methylamino-1,2,4-oxadiazole, 3-(2-chlorophenylamino)-5-methylamino-1,2,4-oxadiazole, 3-(3,4-dichlorophenylamino)-5-methylamino-1,2,4-oxadiazole and 3-(2,6-dichlorophenylamino)-5-methylamino-1,2,4-oxadiazole, have an antihypertensive action and can be used as medicaments for the control of high blood pressure. |
