titleOfInvention | "METHOD FOR PRODUCING FOAM SYSTEMS" |
abstract | The foam system prepared according to the invention is employed for the production of multilayer elements having rigid or flexible top layers and a foam core which simultaneously contains polyisocyanurate and polyurethane structures, on twin-belt machines. The processing of the foam systems should be carried out at maximum twin-belt temperatures of 50 DEG C and at a high production rate corresponding to the length of the twin belt. The multilayer elements produced should have good contour stability, good physico-mechanical and thermal properties, high flame resistance and good adhesion to the top layers. The object of the invention is to prepare a suitable foam system. The object is achieved according to the invention in that the mixture present in the foam system has a polyether alcohol mixture:polyester alcohol:diol ratio by weight of from 1:0.2 to 2.0:0.2 to 2.0, the mixture:polyisocyanate ratio is from 1:1.8 to 2.1, and the trichlorofluoromethane compatibility of the polyester alcohol is at least 0.8 g of trichlorofluoromethane per g of polyester alcohol and that of the diol is at least 0.5 g of trichlorofluoromethane per g of diol. |
