abstract |
The invention relates to novel substituted 1,2,4-triazolidine- 3,5-diones of the formula <IMAGE> in which R<1>, R<2>, R<4> and m have the meaning indicated in the description. These are prepared by reaction of triazolidine-3,5-diones with unsaturated carboxylic acids and/or derivatives of these carboxylic acids. The compounds according to the invention can be used for the modification of melamine resins. Melamine resins modified in this way can be used for the coating of metals. |
