Process for the preparation of thermosetting prepolymers of the maleimide type |
abstract |
Process for the production of a thermosetting prepolymer of the maleimide type, in which A) a polyfunctional maleimide compound, B) a bis-maleimide, C) a diamine and D) an epoxy compound are reacted. The prepolymer has quick hardenability, good solubility in inexpensive and low-boiling solvents such as acetone, methyl ethyl ketone and methyl cellosolve. The prepolymers can advantageously be used for the production of laminated boards with good heat resistance, low moisture absorption and good adhesion to various substrates such as copper foils. |
