titleOfInvention | RADIATION CHEMICAL OR PHOTOCHEMICALLY CURABLE PAINT |
abstract | Radiation- or photo-chemically hardenable coating compsn. contains, by wt. (a) 20-45.8% N,N'-substd. aliphatic amine-modified 0.5-20 wt.% urea gp.-contg. alkylenically unsatd. oligo urethane (I); (b) 10-30% allyl-contg. maleate-fumarate oligoester (II); (c) 0.5-5% surfactant (III); and balance (d) ethylenically unsatd. monomer solvent (IV). A filler-contg. compsn. can contain 20-30% (I), 10-25% (II), 0.5-5% (III), 3-20% filler, balance (IV). A pigment-contg. compsns. can contain 18.5-45.8% (I), 10.1-19.9% (II), 12.5-29.8% pigment, 0.1-2% (III), balance (IV). Photo-chemically hardenable coating compsns. also contain 1-5 wt.% photo-sensitiser. The filler can be SiO2. (III) can be cellulose aceto-butyrate or an organic Si cpd. The pigment can b rutile. (IV) can be triethylene glycol dimethacrylate, Me- or Bu methacrylate. The compsns. can be used in the radiotechnical-, building-, furniture- and other industries. The compsns. resist storage, e.g. for over 6 months, have high hardening velocity, and harden to light-fast coatings requiring no finishing, i.e. neither grinding nor polishing. |
