titleOfInvention PUNCHING CYLINDERS FOR PNEUMATICALLY MOVING THE MOVING PART OF A PUNCHING MOLD
abstract The ram is designed for pneumatic control of the movable part of a blanking die. It consists of a cylinder body with a piston and a piston rod to carry the movable part of the die. The cylinder body has branches on either side for compressed air feed, or ventilation pipe connections. The front face (11) of the ram cylinder (1) facing the piston rod, has evenly distributed three or more small cylinders (15) with pistons (13). These are parallel, and eccentric to the ram cylinder centre line. They are connectable to the compressed air feed (14) for piston return stroke, and to ventilation pipes, for the reverse movement of the punch ram piston (8).
