abstract A novel cosmetic contg. conventional cosmetic carriers and additives, also contains at least one 2-oxo-tetrahydro- 1,3,5 thiadiazine deriv. of formula (I) to combat dandruff. (Where R1 and R3 are each alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, carboxyalkyl, aryl, Cl, Br, COOH, amino-substd. aryl, arylalkyl (opt. substd. in aryl part with Cl, Br, COOH, amino); R2 and R4 are each H, alkyl or aryl). Pref. (I) is 3,5-dimethyl-2-oxo -tetrahydro-1,3,5- thiadiazine (Ia), 3,5-dibenzyl-2-oxo- tetrahydro-1,3,5- thiadiazine and 3-carboxymethyl -5-benzyl-2-oxo-tetrahydro- 1,3,5-thiadriazine. (I) is pref. used in amts. of 0.1-10 (esp. 0.5-3) wt.%. (I) can be used, without problems in clear cosmetic hair and scalp treatments such as shampoos and hair tonics.
