The process forms a domestic gas connection, by connecting the iron pipe in the house, to the synthetic underground pipe, in front of the house wall. The end of the synthetic pipe is deformed cold, or after warming, to form a collar. The iron pipe is inserted; and the collar is shrunk onto the iron pipe. The surface of the pipe end has been previously provided with ring-shaped grooves, in the shape of teeth. The remaining surface of the pipe, extending through the house wall, is provided with a synthetic covering. Before insertion, the covering is conically chamfered, and provided with a groove, to accommodate an O-ring. |
