abstract | Antimycotic agent contains at least one triazolyl-vinyl- carbinol of formula (I) and/or their physiologically acceptable acid addn. salts. R1 is alkyl or haloalkyl; R2 is prim. or tert. alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, alkylmercaptoalkyl, dialkylaminoalkyl, hydroxyalkyl, opt. substd. alkenyl, alkinyl or alkeninyl, phenyl alkyl (opt. substd. on the alkyl and Ph components), opt. substd. indencyl or fluorenyl, or opt. substd. diphenylmethyl or triphenylmethyl. (I) are antimycotics with activity greater than that of the known chemically similar 1-phenyl-2-triazolyl-4,4-dimethyl -1-penten- 3-ol. Cpds. (I) have a broad antimycotic spectrum an are esp. effective against dermatophytes and gemmiparous fungi and biphasic fungi, e.g. Candida spp., Epidermophyton spp., Aspergillus spp., Trichophyton spp., Microsporum spp., and Penicillium spp. (I) can therefore be used to treat dermatomycoses and system mycoses caused by fungi such as the above. |
