titleOfInvention | METHOD FOR PRODUCING DIAMINO-X-S-TRIAZINES |
abstract | In a new process for the prodn. of diamino-s-triazine derivs. by reaction of cyanuric chloride with aliphatic amines in water, before the reaction the dry cyanuric chloride is ground or intensively mixed with hydrophobic, highly dispersed silicic acid contg. an organic solvent having limited or unlimited miscibility with water, the solvent-contq. hydrophobic silicic acid having been ground or intensively mixed with a fluorinated polymer. The dry cyanuric chloride is pref. mixed or ground with 0.1-7 (esp. 0.1-3) wt.% hydrophobic silicic acid contg. 1-80 (esp. 0.1-30) wt.% organic solvent. Pref. organic solvents have a water solubility at 20 deg. of at least 5 wt.%; glycol ethers, glycol esters, dimethyl-acetamide and diethylacetamide are partic. pref. The pref. fluorinated polymer (pref. in an amt. of 0.1-30 wt.%) is polytetrafluoroethylene. |
