abstract | Phosphorus esters of formula (I) are new. R1 is H, 1-4C alkyl (opt. substd. by halo or phenyl, itself opt.substd. by 1 or 2 halo, 1-3C alkoxy or 1-3C alkyl), 2-6C alkoxyalkyl, phenyl (opt.substd. by 1-3 methyl, halo, 1-3C alkoxy or nitro) or pyridyl. R2 is 1-4C alkoxy. R3 is 1-4C alkyl, alkoxy or alkylthio, chloromethyl or phenyl. X is oxygen or sulphur. The E-stereoisomers of (I) are pref. (I) are made by reacting a 5-acetonyloxadiazole with Hal.P(X)R2R3. (I) are useful for control of insects, acarids and fungi in plant protection (they hava a partly systemic action) and also for protecting stored goods and in hygienic applications. As fungicides (I) have particular good activity against the true mildews and Podosphaera leucotricha. |
