abstract |
Light hardening organopolysiloxane compsn. comprises 100 pt. wt. acrylayloxy gp. contg. polysiloxane of formula R2b X2N-(CH2CH2NX)-nR')-aSiO (2-a/2-b/2) (I) (R1 is a divalent hydrocarbon gp; R2 is a monovalent hydrocarbon gp; >=1 X is an acrylyloxy substd. 2-hydroxyalkyl gp. H2C=CR3C(O)OR4CH(OH)CH2-, R3 is H or 1-4C alkyl, R4 is a divalent hydrocarbon gp. and the rest of the X gps. are H; n is 0-4; a is not >3; b is 3 and a + b is not >3), 0.1-20 pt. wt. epoxy cpd. (II) contg. >=1 epoxy gp. per molecule and a light sensitiser. (I) can be hardened with a small amt. of irradiation and has good moisture resistance so that adhesion strength is not effected. The hardened compsn. has excellent electrical properties and heat resistance. The compsn. can be used in condensors. |
