titleOfInvention IMAGE TRANSFER DEVICE
abstract Appts. transfers the developed image from the photosensitive drum onto the copy material in an electrostatic copier. It comprises a corona discharge transfer electrode inside a grid type drum which carries the copy material around in contact with the developed image on the photo-sensitive drum. The grid drum is constructed of conducting wires. After the image has been transferred secondary electrodes discharge any residual charge left by the transfer electrode.
