abstract | New pesticides contain a combination of (A) carbamic acid esters and/or phosphoric or phosphonic acid esters and (B) fluoro-substd. 3-phenoxybenzyl cyclopropane-carboxylic acid or 2-phenyl-isovaleric acid esters of formula (I).R and R1 are H or F, provided that R and R1 are not both H;R2 is H, CN or ethynyl; and R3 is 2,2-dimethyl-3-(2-methyl-1-propenyl) -cyclopropyl, 2,2-dimethyl-3-(chlorovinyl)-cyclopropyl, 2,2-dimethyl-3-(bromovinyl)-cyclopropyl or 1-phenyl- isobutyl in which the phenyl gp is opt mono- ordi-substd. by halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio or NO2, or carries a methylenedioxy gp. Pesticides are insecticides, acaricides and nematicides in which components (A) and (B) act synergistically. The combinations are well tolerated by plants and have favourable toxicity towards warm-blooded animals. They are active against normal and resistant strains, and all or individual strains of insects and mites. The combinations are therefore suitable for use in agriculture, forestry, stored prods and materials protection, and the hygiene sector. |
