titleOfInvention METHOD FOR PRODUCING PHOSPHATE-CONTAINING SILICATE FOAMS
abstract In silicate foam prepn. by foaming an aq. alkaline silicate soln. and hardening this foam by reaction with an acid-yielding mixt., the mixt. contains a quick proton-donating cpd. (A), and Al polyphosphate having formula Al(PO3)3(B), and releases no halide ions. The hardened articles can be used as building components, esp. as sandwich laminates. Setting and hardening take place quickly. The leaching out of corrosive ions from the hardened, wet foam is unnecessary.
