titleOfInvention | BODY AND METHOD FOR FLUORIMETRICALLY DETERMINING A BIOLOGICALLY DERIVED SAMPLE |
abstract | Body for use in the fluorometric detection of a biologically derived sample comprises a handle connected to a non-particulatE, non-swellable impermeable continuous flat surface region (area >=1 sq.mm). A diagnostic reagent is covalently attached to the surface region, and the reagent is bound to >=1 biologically derived sample labelled with a fluorochrome. Used in quantitative detection of an unknown amt. of a biologically derived sample, e.g. an antigen, antibody, hormone, enzyme, drug, infectious agent, Etc. The solid phase technique is efficient and reproducible, and the solid can be easily used for accurate viewing. |
