COMPOSITE AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF |
abstract |
A compound material comprises a solid porous carrier, the pores of which are filled by a polyolefin with a mol. wt. of >=300,000. The filling degree of the pores is >=4% of the total pore column and the ratio of carrier to polymer is 50-99.5:50-0.5. The material is prepd. by polymerising the monomeric olefins at 50-165 degrees C and 1-60 atmos. onto an organometallic catalytic complex comprising a cpd. of a transition metal and a gp. II or III organometallic cpd. which has been pptd. in the pores of the carrier. The material has high strength, cold resistance and water repellance and can be used in concrete. |
