titleOfInvention METHOD FOR FERMENTATIVE PRODUCTION OF MONOTERPEN-CONTAINING FRAGRANCES
abstract In the prepn. of monoterpene-contg. odoriferous substances (I) by cultivating Ceratocystis fungi strains in submerged cultures and then sepg. the terpenoid prods. of metabolism, (i) the fungus culture is cultivated under standard conditions in a nutrient medium contg. a C substrate oversupply in addn. to the standard components and (ii) > 1 lipophilic adsorbent is added to the nutrient medium towards the end of the microorganism growth phase. The lipophilic adsorbent is pref. polystyrene ion exchanger having surface 330 m2/g, pore-size 9nm and dipole moment 0.3. Prodn. of (I) is increased, e.g. 4.5 times.
