abstract Compsn. comprises 20-30wt.% alkali sulphate (esp. Glauber salt); 20-30wt.% prim., sec. or tert. alkali phosphate (esp. Na3PO4), 15-25wt.% scouring filler (esp. ground quartz); 5-15wt.% wool fat (esp. 9% lanolin); 2-8 (5)wt.% vaseline; 2-8(5)wt.% water and 0-2wt.% other additives. The other additives include skin-oil replacements; skin protectants; antioxidants; perfume; oils and/or a dye. Synergistic combination of ingredients gives rapid and complete removal of Pb as metal and as (in)organic cpds.
