Anti-inflammatory medicaments contain 1 pt. wt. of at least one known anti-inflammatory agent (I) and 1-99 pts.wt of at least one pyridyl-thiazole deriv. of formula (II): (where R1 is H, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C hydroxyalkyl or 3-6C cycloalkyl; R2 is 1-4C alkyl). Combinations of (I) and (II) are effective at lower concns. than (I) alone and exhibit reduced undesirable (esp. ulcerogenic) side-effects. |
