titleOfInvention | METHOD OF MODEL FABRICATION FOR CROWNS AND BRIDGES IN DENTAL TECHNOLOGY |
abstract | The system produces models for crowns and bridges in dentistry, the stumps of a saw-pattern model being ground parallel all round as far as the prepn. limit. Retention holes are drilled in the model and the stumps are replaced in it. The insulated impression is replaced on the model, and plastic remaining soft is injected into the chamber between impression and model, and after bonding of the plastic the impression is lifted off again. Petroleum jelly can be used to insulate the impression, in which injection and air discharge holes can be provided. Any superfluous plastic can be removed. |
