DETERGENT SUITABLE FOR COLD WASHING |
abstract |
The compsn. comprises (1) an amionic, nonionic and/or zwitterionic surfactant and (2) the addn. product of 0.5-3 mols glycidol and 1 mol of an N-substd. diamine of formula R-NH-(CH2)n-NH2 (where R = 8-24C (pref. 10-18C) aliph. hydrocarbyl and n = 2-6, pref. 3) in a wt. ratio of (1):(2) of 50-1:1, pref. 20-2:1. The compsn. is effective 15-25 degrees C and thus saves heating costs to a large degree, water from the 'cold' tap often being warm enough to be used as it is. |
