DEVELOPMENT PROCESS AND DEVICE FOR IMPLEMENTING THE PROCESS |
abstract |
The developing system is constructed to operate with material treated with organic silver salts as opposed to normal inorganic silver salts requiring subsequent web processing. The latent image is formed by the controlled application of heat. A second specific level of heat is applied in order to complete the development process. The material is first exposed (a) and then conveyed to the first developing stage (b). A density measuring stage (c) follows. Depending upon the values ascertained, the second developing stage (d) produces a fully developed, full-range end result. The degree of development can be controlled by temp., time or pressure exercised by the heat-applying rollers (21) surfaces (20). |
