| abstract |
The cross-country ski for use on hard ground has an endless track formed from a flexible strip carrying rollers (2) grouped in pairs. The sole plate to support the user's foot is attached to an under plate (11) which slides over the rollers. The track is curved at eac end and runs underneath the sole plate. The rolers are guided by an upper plate which is attached by bolts to the lower plate (11). The curve of the track underneath the sole plate makes possible a large radius of curvature of the track at each end without any undue increase in the height of the sole plate above the ground. |
