titleOfInvention | FUNGICIDALS |
abstract | A fungicide contains at least one azolyl-9, 10-dihydroanthracene deriv. of formula (I) (where A is CH or N; B is CO of is of formula X, Y and Z are each halogen, alkyl, haloalkyl, alkoxy or alkylthio; and n is an integer 0-4). (I) have a broad spectrum of activity and can be used against parasitic fungi which attack the plant above the earth, or attack it from the earth and against those which cause infectious diseases of seeds. (I) are esp. effective against parasitic fungi attacking the parts of the plant above the earth, such as the mildew fungi e.g. against Erysiphe and Podosphaera species as well as against Venturia species and are highly effective against grain diseases e.g against grain rust and as well as against Pellicularia sasakii and Pyricularia oryzae. (I) can be used to protect plants against Plasmodiophoromycetes, Oomycetes, Chytridiomycetes, Zygomycetes, Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes and Deuteromycetes. |
