| abstract | New pesticides contain O, O-diethyl-O-(2,5-dichloro-4-bromophenyl)-thionophosphate (bromophosethyl) (I) and O,O-diethyl-O-(2,5-dichlorophenyl)-thionophosphate (S 4747) (II) in a ratio of ca. 5:1 to 1:5 (w/w). The new pesticides are particularly useful against organophosphorus-resistant ticks, esp. Broophilus. The two cpds. (I) and (II) are pref. used in a ratio of 3:1 to 1:3, esp. 2:1 to 1:2 w/w. They are pref. used in dips contg. ca. 0.5-0.05 wt.% active ingredient. |
