abstract Propenoic acid derivs. of formula (I) are new: In the formula, X and Y are each opt. substd. 1-6C alkoxycarbonyl, aryloxycarbonyl, CN, 1-6C alkylsulphonyl or arylsulphonyl, Z is O or S, m is 2, 3 or 4, n is 3, 4 or 5, R is 1-6C alkyl or aryl or arylsulphonyl opt. substd. by halogen, NO2, CF3 or by the gp. (a). (I) are microbicides, esp. useful against fungi e.g. Botrytis cinerea. A typical cpd. is 2-cyano-3- (1,8-diaza-bicyclo 5,4,0)undecan-7-yl)oxy -3-(phenylam- ino)-propenoic acid methyl ester.
