| abstract | The stable has several bays, each having a separate manuring place and sleeping place. The free sides of all sleeping places border on a common fodder path. The surface of each sleeping place is so measured in relation to the size of the animal that no manure corner can be set up on the sleeping area. The base of the sleeping place is closed while the manuring place floor has holes to allow the manure to fall through. Below the manuring place base of a small group of adjacent stable bays is a common manure collector which has a water flushing. The manure collector is connected to a manure channel via an odour trap siphon. |
