titleOfInvention PROCEDURE FOR DETERMINING POLLUTANT SUBSTANCES AND EQUIPMENT FOR CARRYING OUT THIS PROCEDURE
abstract Bio-assay of noxious materials which at on organic auxiliaries takes place while the auxiliaries are irradiated with filtered light, and fluorescence generated is established. Novelty consists in using, as auxiliaries, chlorophyll contg. cells or cell components, the photosynthesis behaviour of which is distributed by the noxious materials. The cells or cell components are continuously supplied to a sample which contains the noxious materials. Used for detecting herbicides or heavy metals in waters, drinking water or other aq. extracts. Process is quick and can be carried out continuously. Time between taking a sample and detecting an interference is reduced to 10 min.
