titleOfInvention DEVICE FOR INTRODUCING AN AQUATIC COMPOSITION INTO A BODY CAVITY
abstract Appts. for the introduction of an aq. foam compsn. into a body cavity comprises a plastic recipient with a deformable central section. It is moulded in low-density polyethylene or an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer so that the wall thickness at the two ends is greater than that in the central section. The outlet is shaped so that a leak-proof contact can be obtd. when the appts. is applied to an artificial anus. The neck is fitted with a closure which can be twisted off at a breaking zone. The other end has a neck with an air inlet and a closure which can be twisted off at another breaking zone. For the introduction of a foam into the colon to act as an enema, the recipient should have a capacity of 200 ml and contain 30-50 ml. of an aq. foamable matl.
