titleOfInvention | METHOD FOR PRODUCING A BIOMASS |
abstract | The culture is on an aq. inorganic nutrient medium contg. gaseous hydrocarbons as G-source, sources of N, P, K, Mg and micro-elements, present as their corresp. salts. A mixed culture of bacteria 1-70 is used, consisting of a symbiotic mixt. of 4-microorganisms Methylococcus capsulatus, Methylosinus sporium variant incoloratus, ,Methylosinus, trichosporium variant rosaceus, Flavobacterium gasotypicum. During process, concn. ratio bio-mass: salts is kept at 1:1 - 4. Prod. can be used in agriculture, as feed additives; in food industry for prepn. of aminoacids and ferments; in mining, for charging to seam to reduce CH-4 content; in textile industry; to improve quality of materials. 35040 g/l. dry bio-mass can be obtd. in intermittent processes in 30-40 hrs. In a continuous process, flow rate can be 0.16 hr1 for dry bio-mass concn. 9-11 g/l. Bio-mass contains up to 75% raw protein, including 3% methionine, 7% lysine. Prod. also contains (w.r.t. dry material) 12 mg/kg vitamin B12, 40 mg/kg vitamin Bu and 75 mg/kg vitamin B2. |
