titleOfInvention | METHOD OF WASHING AND CLEANING THE SURFACES OF SOLID MATERIALS, IN PARTICULAR TEXTILES |
abstract | Solid materials esp. textiles are washed and cleaned in an aq. bath contg. suspended particles of a finely divided water-insol. agent for binding calcium, comprising a synthetic crystalline aluminium silicate of formula 0.7-1.1 Cat2/n 0:1. 0 Al2O3: 3.3-5.3 SiO2 where Cat = a cation which is exchangeable with Ca, esp. Na or K ion with a valency of n and the Ca-binding capacity of the aluminium silicate at 50-90 degrees C is 100-150 mg CaO/g anhydrous active material (=AS). The aluminium silicates are useful in washing agents for use in washing machines e.g. for textiles or dishes etc. They can be used in place of the polyphosphates often used the cause less environmental pollution than the latter. |
