Novel 1-benzoyl-3-(4-phenoxyphenyl) ureas of formula (I) (where R1 is F, Cl, Br or Me; R2 is H, F or Cl; R3 is H or Cl; R4 is H, Cl or Me; R5 is H or Cl, R2 is NO2 or CF3) are insecticides with low mammalian and plant toxicity. A concn. of 0.001% applied to Plutella maculipennis gives a destruction of 90-100% after 8 days. |
