abstract |
The engine driven by diesel oil has at least two cylinders with pistons. these pistons are coupled by crank arrangement to the engine output shaft. This engine is designed so that the maximum weight to power ratio is three kilograms permetric horsepower. Only one atomiser is used for two cylinders. The stroke length is halved in comparison with that of conventional diesel engines. The resultant engine has high rotating speed and the especially formed cast iron cylinders (3) are clamped in a light alloy housing (2). The injector (9) between two cylinders, of paired cylinder engine, is connected by channels to both cylinders. The exhaust gases of two stroke cylinders are expanded between two cylinders. |
