titleOfInvention PROCEDURE TO REDUCE HEAT CONDUCTIVITY FROM INCOMPLETE VACUUM
abstract Heat conductivity because of an incomplete vacuum is reduced by mixing the gas residues with one or more gases having low heat-conductivity. Used in sun-collectors which heat fluids flowing through, in order to convert heat energy to electrical energy. Losses through heat-conduction can be reduced without lowering vacuum to 10-13 Torr, and a vacuum of 0.1 Torr becomes adequate.
