| abstract | In medical practice a considerable amount of the words and phrases used are constantly repeated for various purposes e.g. on medical records, prescriptions etc. The use of suitably designed printing stamps eases the work of the doctor, and improves the legibility of the writing for the chemist and clearing house. Stamps can be designed for specific applications e.g. prescriptions for the chemist so that with even a limited number of such stamps the efficiency of the practice is improved. The adoption of different coloured printing inks further facilitates ready identification of specialised text. The wording on the stamp can be repeated on the handgrip of the stamp to facilitate its selection. |
