titleOfInvention | HEAT DEVELOPMENT LIGHT SENSITIVE MATERIAL |
abstract | Thermally developing photosensitive material has layers contg. an organic Ag salt (I), a catalytic amt. of a photo-sensitive Ag halide (II), produced by forming (I) in the presence of a cpd. which can form (II), a reducing agent, a binder and a fatty acid (III) with at least 10 C. Pref. (III) is capric, lauric, myristic, palmitic, stearic, arachic, behenic or cerotic acid and is used in an amt. of 0.001-5 mole/mole (I). The material has high speed and gives images with improved contrast, better sharpness, little thermal fogging and fastness to heat and light. |
