abstract | Flame-proof regenerated cellulose fibre prodn. by adding flame-proofing P cpds. to viscose, wet-spinning, opt. drawing and after-treating filaments or staple fibres, takes place by using, as flame-proofing agent, a combination of (i) cpds. of formula PNxOy (A) where x is 0.9-1.7 and y is 1.2 to 0, and y values converge towards 0 with increasing values of x) with (ii) components (B) which may be alkyl- and esp. halogenated alkyl phosphates; cyclophosphazenes; polyphosphazenes; tetrakis (oxymethyl) phosphonium chloride or hydroxide or its condensates with NH3, oxymethyl melamine, urea or other amines or amides; P-, PN- or halogen-contg. vinyl cpds. and also tri(1-aziridinyl) phosphine oxide or N-(oxymethyl)-3-phosphono-propionamide, opt. together with a condensation resin. |
