titleOfInvention | LIGHT-SENSITIVE VESICULAR MATERIAL |
abstract | A light-sensitive vesicular material, with a mixed polymer matrix contg. a dispersed light-sensitive cpd., has a matrix of a mixt. of polymethacrylonitrile homopolymer (I) with (II) a vinyl (co)polymer, an epoxy polymer and/or a copolymer with polyurethane segments. The use of (II) as modifier for (I) allows compatible blends to be produced using a single solvent, if (I) content is 50%. The activities obtainable from these blends is comparable with that of pure (I) films, whilst the matrix has the excellent resistance to tearing and the adhesive props. of (II). The material has avery good film speed and gives better resoln., less fogging and other improved photometric props. |
