abstract | The weighed quantities of test reagents are related to a predetermined quantity of body fluids. The reagent is available in dried form on porous paper and the size of the paper is such that the quantity of substance it contains corresponds to the weighted quantity required for carrying out the determination. The reagent consists of a saturated preferably aqueous solution which is dried on the paper. The reagent is dried on paper in combination with other compatible reagents or together with a suitable buffer. The type and quantity of substance used as reagent can be indicated on the paper. |
