titleOfInvention NON-SULFIDIC COPPER ORE FLOTATION
abstract Flotation of non-sulphide Cu ores, contg. predominantly oxidic components with standard collector-, frothing-and activating reagents, takes place by using, as passivating agents or pushers for talcum, clay and other sludge-forming minerals, alkyl- or alkyl hydroxyalkyl celluloses. In these cellulose ethers, (I), on av. 1-2 (1.4-1.6) of total 6 OH gps/glucose unit are etherified by 1-2C alkyl and/or 2-3C hydroxyalkyl gps. Pushing effect of (I) on gangues is selective.
