titleOfInvention HIGH 99M TECHNETIUM-ZIRCONIUM COMPLEX, THE PROCESS FOR ITS PRODUCTION AND ITS APPLICATION IN NUCLEAR MEDICINE
abstract A new 99mTc-Zr complex (I) is obtd. by reacting (i) HCl (esp. N soln), (ii) NaTcO4 soln. (esp. that eluting from a 99Mo/99mTc generator with 0.9% aq. NaCl), (iii) bicarbonate soln. (esp. 8.4% aq. soln) and (iv) Zr. (I) is used for scintillography, e.g. of the lymph nodes, bone marrow or esp. liver and spleen, in human and veterinary medicine. It contains no potentially allergic org. cpds. and can be sterilised by heating in an autoclave.
