abstract |
A latent hardener for epoxy resins consists of a mixt. of (a) hexahydrophthalic, tetrahydrophthalic, phthalic or hexachloroendomethylene tetrahydrophthalic (chlorendic) acid anhydride and (b) an imidazole cpd. A 1-component compsn. compsn. contg. the hardener mixt. is stable at room temp., but hardens in a relatively short time at moderately high temp., to give a resin with good mechanical and electrical properties. |
