titleOfInvention GRAY, NON-ITIC DETERGENT BLEACHING AGENT
abstract Granular bleaching compsn. consists mainly of Na perborate tetrahydrate and non-ionic tensides. The Na perborate powder particles are coated with 5-20(7.5-15)wt.% homogeneous mixt. of: (A) >=1 3-18 glycol ether gp.-contg. ethoxylation prodt. of a linear satd. pri. 16-22 C alcohol; (B) >=1 3-18 glycol ether gp.-contg. ethoxylation prodt. of (a) an opt. branched, pri. or sec., 10-15C satd. or 10-18C plainly unsatd. alcohol, (b) a linear, satd. 12-18C vicinal diol and/or (c) an alkylphenol contg. 7-12 C n-alkyl. Wt. ratio (A):(B) is 1:2 to 5:1 (2:3 to 3:1). The compsn. is used in powdered detergents. The compsn. is homogeneous, dust-free and flows well. The perborate may be used at a low temp., without heating, and ave. grain-size of treated perborate is 0.4-1 mm., i.e. in detergent powder range.
