abstract Selective herbicidal mixts. contain (a) 3-cyclohexyl-5, 6-trimethylene-uracil (I) of formula: and (b) at least one cpd. of formula (II): (where R is phenyl opt. substd. by halogen, alkyl, haloalkyl alkoxy or alkylthio, R1 is opt. halo-substd. 2-6C acyl). The mixts. are esp. useful for post-emergence weed control in beet crops. They have a higher activity than either (I) or (II) alone while being equally well tolerated by beet plants.
