titleOfInvention THERAPEUTIC FIBER FIBER
abstract Fleece forming artificial skin on wounds, burns and places from which skin has been removed fro transplantation, consists of staple fibres (0.2-7 cm. long) spun from solubiliseD, telopeptide-free collagen and subsequently tanned. The fibres can be bound together by means of a binder (2-20 wt. % w.r.t. the fibres) contg. solubilised or denatured collagen. The compatibility of this fleece with flesh is very good; there is no antigen action and no rejection by the organism.
