Cpds. of formula (I) R1R2N(CH2)nR3 (where R1 is a gp. of formula: R2 is H, 1-4C alkyl, allyl, propargyl, MeOCO, EtOCO, CHO, COMe, COEt, benzoyl (opt. substd. by halogen or 1-4C alkyl) or R1; R3 is cyclohexyl substd. by MeOCO or EtOCO, or phenyl substd. by R10 and R11, where R10 is H, 2-4C alkoxycarbonyl, COMe, COEt, opt. Me- or Et-substd. benzoyl, 1-3C alkoxy, allyloxy, propargyloxy, PhO, PhCH2O, COOH, 1-3C alkyl, NO2, halogen, allyloxycarbonyl or propargyloxycarbonyl and R11 is H, 1-3C alkoxy, 1-3C alkyl or Cl, or R10 and R11 is OCH2O; R4 and R7 are Me or Et; R5 and R6 are H or together form a bond or an O bridge; R8 and R9 are H or together form a bond; m and n are 0 or 1; with the proviso that R3 is not p-(1-2C alkoxy)carbonylphenyl when R2 is H, n = 0, m = 1, R4 and R7 are Me, R5 and R6 is a bond and R8 and R9 is a bond) are insecticides and mite ovicides. They are pref. prepd. by reacting R3(CH2)nNHR2 with R1 Hal (Hal = Cl, Br or I) in the presence of a proton acceptor. When R2 = H, the product can be acylated and opt. selectively epoxidised with a peracid. |
